Trips to the hair stylist can really add up. This 24-piece home haircutting kit from Wahl gives the whole family professional-looking haircuts for a fraction of the cost. The powerful clippers are useful for giving crew cuts and maintaining shorter haircuts. The clippers have a high-speed PowerDrive motor, which gives a smoother cut on thick hair. However, for the extent of its power, the motor is fairly quiet and lightweight. A comfortable grip makes the clippers easy to hold for a long period of time and a "Dura Chrome" finish gives them that retro-barber-shop look. The clippers’ high-carbon steel blades are permanently aligned so you never need to adjust them, and are detachable for thorough cleaning. The clippers come with 10 adjustable guide combs and a sliding thumb-operated switch on the clippers lets you easily adjust the combs to the proper height. Besides the clippers and guide combs, other accessories in the kit include a barber comb; small flattop comb; pocket comb; barber scissors for trimming bangs or stray hairs; two hair clips; a cape; neck duster; instructional video; and a blade guard, a cleaning brush, and extra oil for the electric clippers. The entire kit fits in a zippered storage pouch.
